Frequently Asked Questions about Self-Guided Audio Tour:
At what time and on what day can I take the self-guided audio tour?
You can take our self-guided audio tour whenever you want! If you do the tour on a weekday, during business hours, you’ll be able to step inside of the lobby of a few of our buildings. If you take the tour on a weekend, or after hours, our office buildings will be locked. However, you do not need to go into the buildings to have a great tour experience.
What should I wear?
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be doing lots of walking.
How long will my tour last?
We recommend leaving 1.5 hours to do the self-guided tour, but you can move as fast or as slow as you would like.
Where should I park?
There is street parking and parking garages around Day 1, where the tour starts but this is a busy neighborhood so leave yourself lots of time to find a spot. The Day 1 building does have a parking garage – there is one garage entrance/exit on 6th Ave, and one garage exit on Blanchard. Garage hours are Mon-Sat, 6am – 12am, Sun 8am – 10pm. Note you will have to pay to park in this garage.
Is the audio tour available in languages other than English?
Not yet – but that is something we are currently working on. Stay tuned!
I don’t have headphones – what should I do?
We’ve got you covered! The receptionists at Day 1 (2121 7th Ave. Seattle, WA 98109) have plenty to give you for free that you can keep after use, but note, the reception desk is open on weekdays from 7am-6pm – it is not open on weekends.
Is Amazon Go on this tour? Can I go in?
We are excited that Amazon Go is officially open. To visit Amazon Go before or after your tour, please follow the instructions on their website – you will have to download the Amazon Go app: www.amazon.com/go.
Are The Spheres a part of the self-guided tour experience?
No. Customers taking the self-guided tour will not get to go inside The Spheres but are encouraged to check out The Spheres Discovery at Understory – for more information on that space, check here: www.seattlespheres.com.
I loved the tour – now what?
We are so glad! We would love if you could leave a review on Audible as customer feedback is of the utmost importance to us here at Amazon. If you have any questions about what you heard on the recording, feel free to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to get back to you ASAP.
